We were excited to visit in hopes of recommending the property to family and visiting friends. Beautifully designed and appointed, with one important caveat. While they welcome guests of all ages, the property is intended for adults. We stopped in for lunch in the lounge with our tween. The menu is short and a bit eclectic, so we asked if there was a youth menu. We were met with a quick no. We asked if the kitchen would mind making a grilled cheese to go with the soup and we were also told no. The implication was clear that accommodations for kids is not an option. We completely respect that this is their unique business plan, but it’s a little shocking when you have to learn this in person. I only hope to give other parents a heads up that there will be no alternatives. It wasn’t until I took a deep dive into the FAQ portion of the website that I finally discovered their desire to be child free. We will recommend to our adult only friends, and will warn off families.

I wasn’t super impressed the first time I came here but only had finger food so figured we would give it another try. Four stars seems too generous but three seems too stingy. I’ll start with the positives; the hotel is gorgeous. My burger was very very good. Now for the things they could improve- The fries were ice cold but our waitress was so sweet I didn’t want to send them back. Not everything needs beets in it. You would think they were given a cartload of free beets the way they’re putting beets on everything. The burger served with ice cold fries was 30$. That’s before tip. We got dessert which was okay but the teeniest tiniest dessert I’ve ever been served. I was so surprised. Also I was there for three hours and they only had three other people there the entire evening. So there’s no reason cold food should ever be served. If you’re into a very gorgeous atmosphere with overpriced tiny little portions I would recommend

My friend and I attended the New Year's eve party and stayed the night. We did have an issue with the heat and the phone in our room. The phone situation ended up being humorous. The staff was very prompt to get us into a new room and I believe they discounted the cost for the inconvenience. The inside of this building is beautiful. The food and drinks were amazing. It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to go back again.

Had an unforgettable stay at the Lake Estate and I can't say enough about the experience from the moment we arrived check-in was flawless we were welcomed with genuine warmth! I stayed in a king room with a balcony and the level of luxury was top tier every detail felt intentional. Waking up to the breast-taking Lakeview each morning with something I'll remember for a long time. The restaurant was amazing very well thought out menu. Food was absolutely delicious from breakfast to dinner. Spa visit for a facial and massage both services being exceptional the sauna and outdoor mineral spa were a bonus and I can truly say it was an immersive wellness experience. So much to do here even though it is off season between the movie theatre, workout room, hair salon, spa, wine tasting, walking trails etc. or do nothing at all that is the true magic of this place!!!

My husband and I stayed for a night to celebrate our anniversary. We live in southern NH and were excited to try a new luxury experience— there aren’t many here! The property is stunning. We took a walk along the trails at sunset, just gorgeous. The interiors are so well-appointed. Both the hotel and staff reminded me of Amangani. The level of service they are striving to provide is unmatched in this area, and generally hard to find anywhere these days. Some of the staff is still training since they just opened, but everyone was extremely accommodating and seemed really happy to be there. All the guests were having a ball too. Really great atmosphere. Tiny drawbacks- the mattress was a bit soft for my taste; and we ordered dinner to the room but wish we’d just gone down to the restaurant because the food is too nice for takeout containers. As others said, the seafood chowder was incredible. Looking forward to coming back. We were envious of the couple getting married that day, it truly looked like the absolute perfect place to host a wedding!

Absolutely stunning hotel! Luxurious, but not in a pretentious way. Very warm and welcoming environment. The property is gorgeous. You can tell how much thought and craft went into the interior design. Each corner and nook has something special. Our room was pristine...EXTREMELY clean. The balcony and lake views are breathtaking. Overall a wonderful addition to New Hampshire!!!

Stopped in to check the place out and grab lunch. Staff was welcoming as they opened the doors for us. Roamed around a bit and check out all the public areas before eating. Beautiful property. Lunch was great. Server was on point. Everything I was hoping this property would be. If you have ever been to Beauport in Gloucester this place is on the same level. Will be booking a stay this summer to try the pool, spa and dinner!

Our stay at The Lake Estate was absolutely wonderful! This brand-new resort — open less than a month — is already operating at a five-star level. The property is stunning, spotless, and surrounded by the most tranquil, crystal-clear lake views. We loved stepping onto our balcony each morning in their plush robes with a coffee, taking in the peaceful scenery. The rooms were elegant and immaculate, and the pool and amenities were exceptional. Dinner by Chef Chris Viaud, a James Beard–nominated chef formerly of Deuxave Boston, was unforgettable — the chicken was cooked to perfection with beautifully balanced flavors. Breakfast was fresh, and delicious. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We can’t wait to return soon — and would love to be kept posted on any upcoming events or special dinners!
